Office of Mayor Guinta - Philip Mangano, Executive Director of U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, to Speak at Project Homeless Connect

MANCHESTER (December 5, 2008) – Philip Mangano, Executive Director of U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness; announced on Friday that he will be in attendance and speak at Project Homeless Connect event on Tuesday. In 2007, Mangano was nominated as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People; and in 2006, he was named by Governing Magazine as the first Federal official ever to be honored with its Public Official of the Year Award. Mangano has been recognized by mainstream and business media for his leadership and results in regards to the issue of homelessness in America.
