DNC - Democratic Leaders to Hold Press Conference Highlighting Democratic Strength Heading Into November

Washington, DC - Democratic Party leaders will hold a press conference tomorrow, June 10 at 2:45 p.m. EDT in the Wasserman Room of the Democratic National Committee to discuss Democratic strength heading into the November election and how Democrats will win up-and-down the ticket, offering a clear change in policies from the Bush Administration and John McCain. Participating in the press conference will be DNC Chairman Howard Dean, Senate Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, DGA Chairman Joe Manchin and other Democratic leaders.

The economy will be a strong point of contrast in this election with John McCain and Republicans offering four more years of costly Bush economic policies which have widened inequality and left our children with a mountain of debt and Barack Obama and Democrats who will work to provide affordable health care, relief to struggling homeowners and a tax policy that works for all Americans.
