WASHINGTON– Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Robert M.“Mike” Duncan today launched a three week “Victory 2008Tour” to meet with state GOP leaders and discuss John McCain and theRepublican Party’s strategy for victory in 2008.  During his tour,Chairman Duncan will travel to target states – including Michigan,Wisconsin, Ohio, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina– to discuss the Party’s voter registration, microtargeting, GOTV,and fundraising efforts leading up to Election Day. 

“I am excited to meet with thegrassroots activists, state leaders, and enthusiastic volunteers who aredevoting their time and energy to elect John McCain and Republicans nationwidethis November,” Duncansaid.  “These are the individuals who will ensure Republican successon Election Day by carrying out our strategy and message surrounding JohnMcCain’s positive vision for the future of our nation.”

John McCain 2008 Political Director andDeputy Campaign Manager Mike DuHaime, RNC Political Director Rich Beeson, andRNC Strategy Director Bill Steiner will travel with the Chairman during histour and meet with leaders from the McCain Campaign, RNC, and state parties, aswell as local leaders on the ground.
