Republican Women's Group to Host Ice Cream Social

Manchester, NH - The Greater Manchester Federated Republican Women (GMFRW) is pleased to announce that the group will be having an ice cream social to thank volunteers on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

State Representative and GMFRW Treasurer Betsy McKinney is graciously hosting the event at her home located at 3 Leelynn Circle in Londonderry. The event will be keynoted by NH Republican Party Chairman Fergus Cullen.

"We've had numerous new and renewing members join the GMFRW this year and there is a lot of enthusiasm about the upcoming election," stated club President Kathy Cusson-Cail. "This ice cream social is a way to thank all of our wonderful volunteers as well as reach out to other Republicans interested in getting involved," concluded Cusson-Cail.

The Greater Manchester Federated Republican Women fosters the education and involvement of women and men in the political and public service process, including providing opportunities to become a candidate, greater access to meeting with local and high level candidates, and helping on political campaigns. It is one of several such groups across New Hampshire, and part of a state and national Federation.

The event is open to all Republicans and Independents interested in becoming more involved. There is no cost for the event, though donations are encouraged. Families with children are welcome. For direction, questions or to RSVP, please contact club President Kathy Cusson-Cail at
