MANCHESTER—National Latino leader Adolfo Carrión will participate in Latino Fest this Saturday, August 16th to talk to New Hampshire voters about the need for change this fall. With 18.2% of Latinos in New Hampshire uninsured and thousands more dealing with the day to day challenges of a struggling economy, Mr. Carrión will share with voters why Sen. Obama is the right choice for New Hampshire’s working Latino families.
Adolfo Carrión, Jr. has served as the Bronx Borough President since January2002. As Borough President, Carrión has committed himself to improving schools and housing, creating jobs that pay a living wage, and making the streets of the Bronx safer for families. Mr. Carrión, Jr. also currently serves as the president of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Leaders (NALEO).
