McCain For President - NH Staff reaction to VP Pick Gov Palin (R-AK)

MANCHESTER, NH -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today released the following statement from Jayne Millerick, a Bow resident who serves as a Vice Chair of McCain's New Hampshire campaign, regarding the selection of Governor Sarah Palin as John McCain's running mate:

"John McCain's choice of Sarah Palin as his running mate reflects and magnifies McCain's strong credentials as a reformer. Governor Palin has taken on the status quo in Alaska, cutting spending and standing firm for ethics reform. As the leader of a key state, she also is a leading voice in the effort to make America energy independent. Governor Palin is a tough executive who is ready to join John McCain in changing 'business as usual' in Washington."
