DHHS - NH Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders Holds its 1st Meeting

Concord, NH – New Hampshire’s newly appointed Council on Autism Spectrum Disorders will hold its first quarterly meeting Friday, September 19 at 10:00 at the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS), 105 Pleasant Street in Concord. The 17-member Council is made up of a broadly representative group of stakeholders. The NH Legislature created the Council last spring to provide leadership in the Granite State’s efforts to improve healthcare, education, and services for individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Recommendations published last spring by a previously established commission on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) will serve as a guide for the Council’s work.
