Strafford County Democrats - Barrington Democrats Host Women of Distinction in Politics

BARRINGTON - The Barrington Democratic Town Committee will host a special evening of politics and music, “Women of Distinction: Extraordinary Women in New Hampshire Politics,” Friday, Oct. 10 at 7:00 p.m. at the Barrington Middle School, 20 Haley Rd. off Route 9 in Barrington.

Featured guests will be Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, State Senator Jackie Cilley and Executive Councilor Bev Hollingworth. A representative of Gov. Jeanne Shaheen’s U.S. Senate campaign will attend along with women (and men) running for State Representative from Strafford County.

The program will pay tribute to the accomplishments and service of these distinguished women who work for the people of New Hampshire and the nation. The audience will hear from the candidates and have a chance to meet them and ask questions on the issues of the day.

The evening will also include live entertainment from special musical guests Susan Pratt-Smith, Anne Brown and Johanna Chase.

“Women of Distinction: Extraordinary Women in New Hampshire Politics” is open to all and admission is free. Doors open at the Barrington Middle School at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7:00 p.m.
