Concord, NH: The New Hampshire Young Republican Federation (NHYR) and Nashua Alderman Mark S. Cookson will hold a GOP debate and Republican National Convention watching party this Thursday, September 4 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 2 Somerset Parkway in Nashua from 8 - 11 p.m. This "Seize the Day Suite Social" will be held in the Presidential Suite, the same place where Sen. John McCain celebrated winning NH's "First in the Nation Primary" elections in 2000 and 2008.
The event will begin at 8 p.m. with the 1st Congressional District debate on WMUR, followed by the 2nd District debate at 9 p.m., and culminating with Sen. McCain's nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention at 10 p.m. "This is a very exciting time to be able to open up the Presidential Suite at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua to hear Senator McCain's acceptance speech -- our next President of the United States of America," stated Alderman Cookson. "So as we watch one Senator make an attempt to put 'Country First'; I am also very excited about Paul LaFlamme's bid for State Senator to keep New Hampshire first by bringing real solutions forward in Concord for all of our benefit."
The event is open to all Republicans with a suggested donation of $25 to benefit State Senate candidate and Young Republican Paul LaFlamme. Light refreshments will be available along with a cash bar. Please contact NHYR Chair Kerry Marsh at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to RSVP.
