Shea-Porter Announces More Than $200,000 for New Hampshire Agriculture Projects

WASHINGTON, DC — Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter today announced that the State of New Hampshire will receive $229,319.98 to increase the competitiveness of small agriculture producers, and promote or create direct marketing opportunities for specialty crop producers.  Specialty crops are defined as fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, and horticulture and nursery crops, including floriculture.  Funding for these projects is provided by the United States Department of Agriculture and will go to eight different projects across the state.
