DSCC - STATEMENT ON KELLY AYOTTE'S OFFICIAL ENTRY INTO THE NH SENATE RACE

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Communications Director Eric Schultz released the following statement in response to Kelly Ayotte’s official entry into the New Hampshire Senate race today:

“With her Senate run now official, Kelly Ayotte should start answering questions, something she has noticeably avoided doing over the past three and a half months.  Ayotte can start by explaining her position on a woman’s right to choose, her stance on the economic stimulus package, and whether she looks to Senator Jim DeMint or Senator Olympia Snowe as a model.  Whoever ends up being the Republican nominee, the people of New Hampshire will be faced with a stark contrast between the Republican, who advocates taking New Hampshire back to the failed policies of the Bush era, and Congressman Paul Hodes, who is working everyday to get the New Hampshire economy back on track and move the state forward.”
