Shea-Porter Announces Nearly $300,000 to Combat Violence Against Women at UNH

WASHINGTON, DC — Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter today announced that the University of New Hampshire (UNH) will receive $299,882 from the “Grants to Reduce Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking on Campus Program.”  This program allows universities to establish multidisciplinary consortia to combat violent crimes against women on campuses.  Funding for this grant is provided by the Office on Violence Against Women of the Department of Justice.
