GMFRW - Republican Women's Group to Host Annual Christmas Party

Manchester, NH – The Greater Manchester Federated Republican Women (GMFRW) is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our annual Christmas Party on Thursday, December 10. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary church hall located at 54 Walnut Street in Manchester.

There will be a three course buffet meal with pork, stuffing, rice, and vegetables, and it will also include fruit cups, dessert, salad, and appetizers. Cost is $15 per adult, $7 for children age 7-16, and free for children under the age of 7.

The GMFRW fosters the education and involvement of women and men in the political and public service process, including providing opportunities to become a candidate, greater access to meeting with local and high level candidates, and helping on political campaigns. It is one of several such groups across New Hampshire, and part of a state and national Federation.

Numerous awards will be given out during the party, including the: Bella Duperron Award (exemplary grassroots activism and public service); Frank & Barry Award (leadership and teamwork within the Federation); and Torch Award (Associate Member of the Year). Outgoing NH Federation of Republican Women President Christine Peters will be attending to present the GMFRW with the Silver Award, a national recognition awarded to the GMFRW for local club achievement. New officers for the upcoming term will also be installed during the event.

Though not required, attendees are also encouraged to bring manufacturers coupons to donate to military families and a local food pantry. Campbell’s product labels, clothing, and hygiene products will also be collected and donated locally.

The meeting is open to all Republicans interested in becoming more involved. For direction, questions or to RSVP, please contact club President Kathy Cusson-Cail at
