Why Blame AIG for the Mistakes of Congress?
CHQ Blog - The problem with the AIG bonuses is much like the famous debate about the chicken and the egg. Without the chicken, could there be an egg? Or, without the egg, could there be a chicken? Instead of rage directed at AIG for giving bonuses to its execs after accepting billions of public dollars, perhaps Americans should direct their anger at Congress, who gave those billions of dollars to AIG to begin with.
