FARMINGTON - The Farmington Democratic Town Committee will host a “meet the candidate” potluck dinner with District 3 state senate candidate Bud Martin Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 526 Main St., Farmington. The event is free and open to all.
Martin will be joined at the event by District 6 state senator Jackie Cilley of Barrington. Both Martin and Sen. Cilley will discuss how they are working to find real solutions to the difficult problems the state is facing.
“As state senator, I will always be accessible and promise to focus on the task at hand,” Martin said. “We need leadership that will put aside partisanship for the benefit of the people, and if elected, I will do just that.”
Martin, a Sandwich selectman, small businessman and former judge, is running for state senate in a special election April 21. Senate District 3 includes Farmington, Middleton and Milton in Strafford County and 14 Carroll County towns spanning the Lake District and the Mount Washington Valley.
