Shea-Porter Announces $333,000 in Funding for Manchester Community Health

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter today announced that $333,000 in funding for the Manchester Community Health Center is included in the Omnibus Appropriations Bill. The bill passed the House of Representatives on February 25^th and is currently being debated in the Senate. The health center currently serves 6,300 patients and is expected to add an additional 1,500.

“I am pleased that the Manchester Community Center is receiving this important assistance,” said Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter. “These tough economic times have made it difficult for many people to keep their health care, and this funding will help provide basic health care to those who need it most.”
