Concord, NH – The State Office of Long-Term Care Ombudsman (OLTCO) will announce later today the recipient of this year’s Judith D. Griffin Advocacy Award. The award is presented annually to an individual or group that has made outstanding efforts toward improving the quality of life and quality of care to residents of long-term care facilities. The announcement will be made at a statewide Recognition and Luncheon and Awards Ceremony in Concord, NH on Tuesday April 14, 2009. During this event, all the volunteers that work with the OLTCO will also be recognized for the work they’ve done throughout the year on behalf of NH seniors. The event begins at 2 PM at the Bridges House in Concord, NH.
