Washington D.C.—Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter today announced that the State of New Hampshire will receive $39,163,900 for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund program through the Environmental Protection Agency. This program provides low interest loans for water quality protection projects for wastewater treatment, non-point source pollution control, and watershed and estuary management. This money has been made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
“These funds provide the resources necessary to keep our water clean in New Hampshire,” said Congresswoman Shea-Porter. “This Congress and Administration are continuing its commitment to green infrastructure in our local communities.”
