Tax Day Becomes Protest Day: Today American taxpayers in more than 300 locations in all 50 states will hold rallies -- dubbed "tea parties" -- to protest higher taxes and out-of-control government spending. There is no political party behind these rallies, no grand right-wing conspiracy, not even a 501(c) group like

Tea Parties Should Be More Than Anti-Tax: You undoubtedly have heard that on April 15th many Americans will participate in Tax Day “Tea Parties,” a reference to the colonial tea parties that occurred in 18th century America. The protests have been widely covered by a broad range of media outlets.

An American Revolution: The tea party movement sweeping the nation today is a genuine American revolution amid growing alarm over the insolvency of banks, creditors, the financial system, and the public treasury at large. And like the rebellion for liberty of some 233 years ago, this one promises to reweave the very political fiber of the nation.

Tell Us Your Tea Party Experience: I attended the Washington D.C. Tea Party earlier today. Even though the weather was terrible, a lot of people still showed up. In my estimates, there must have been several thousand. If you are in the D.C. area, there are more Tea Parties tonight.
