NetRight Daily: The Day After...

Tax Day Fix Requires More Than 'Tea Parties': If America's Founding Fathers were ever brought here in a time machine, their eyes would moisten with tears of pity and regret. Then they'd whip out their canes and give us a sound thwacking for willingly giving so much of our labor to government in the form of taxes, and for ceding, like so many sheep, individual economic freedom to the central planning authority.

Homeland Insecurity: On April 7, the Department of Homeland Security distributed a counterterrorism assessment to local law-enforcement types entitled "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment." The nine-page paper has many on the right questioning what is going on in Washington.

Bailing Out the Taxpayers for a Change: With so much money flowing out of Washington these days, it's useful to consider just how much of it is actually winding up in the pockets of U.S. taxpayers – whose sons and daughters are ultimately going to have to repay it all.

A Call to Action: Fed-up with the way the federal government has abused their trust and misused their taxes, angry Americans across the country held protests against the plague of bailout mania that has swept through Washington, DC, in recent months. As they gathered to protest, many no doubt found comfort in the fact that they are not alone, and certainly the grassroots underpinnings of tax day's more than 750 planned events added a certain patriotic aura to the protests.
