FARMINGTON – District 3 state senate candidate Bud Martin will meet with voters at a potluck dinner hosted by the Farmington Democratic Town Committee this Saturday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 526 Main St., Farmington. The event is free and open to all.
District 6 state senator Jackie Cilley of Barrington will join Martin at the Farmington event. Sen. Cilley will discuss how the Gov. Lynch and the Democratic majority in Concord are working to find real solutions to the difficult problems the state is facing and why it is critical to elect Martin.
Martin, a Sandwich selectman, small businessman and former judge, is running for state senate in a special election April 21. Senate District 3 includes Farmington, Middleton and Milton in Strafford County and 14 Carroll County towns spanning the Lake District and the Mount Washington Valley. “As state senator, I will always be accessible and promise to focus on the task at hand,” Martin said. “We need leadership that will put aside partisanship for the benefit of the people, and if elected, I will do just that.”
Farmington Democratic volunteers are providing main courses and desserts for the event and will be working over the coming weeks to build support for Martin’s candidacy.
