Food, Dance and History returning to Veterans Park
People Fest celebrates its 3rd annual multicultural festival!
On Saturday, August 29, Manchester’s Veterans Park will again be the site of a unique celebration of food, dance, music art -- and people -- as People Fest returns for its 3rd season.
The festival is a revival of the city’s former International Festivals, designed to be a city-wide celebration of the ethnic and cultural diversity of the Queen City while providing a place to come together and share common ground as a global neighborhood.
Music and dance groups from across the state will perform on the World Stage throughout the day, while craft and food vendors, local service providers and cultural organizations will man display tables.
People Fest will be sharing the park once again with the Manchester Artist’s Association’s Art in the Park, which will feature original art work by local and regional artists.
The event is free to all and will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Vendors and volunteers are needed and appreciated.
