CPR-Action - Launches New Web TV Ad on State Budget

CPR-Action Launches New Web Ad "MoreMoreMore"

Plans to protest run-away spending at Rally on 24th

Concord – CPR-Action launched a new web tv ad, "MoreMoreMore" which details the many tax and revenue schemes that have been presented during this budget process. Despite many of the revenue proposals having not made it into the current version of the budget, CPR-Action released the ad to bring about further public awareness to the fact that the sole reason all of these new tax and revenue schemes were on the table is because of the out-of-control spending by the Legislature and Governor over the last 3 years.

Commenting on the ad, CPR-Action's Kevin Smith, stated, "The public needs to be made aware that the Legislature and Governor will go to any length to tax them any way they can, even during a deep recession, because of their fiscal irresponsibility and mismanagement of the state budget. Even with the latest version of the budget, we are certainly not out of the woods yet especially if it is voted down - I suspect we'd see some of these taxes or gambling rear their ugly heads again."

The new ad can be accessed on the internet at:

CPR-Action is sponsoring the "It's the Spending, Stupid!" Rally in front of the statehouse on Wednesday, June 24th at noon, to protest the run-away spending in the proposed state budget.
