Shea-Porter to Present Medals to World War II Navy Veteran on Monday

Manchester, NH – On Monday, June 8, 2009, Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter will host a formal medal presentation ceremony for World War II Navy veteran Clarence “Bill” Dooley. Mr. Dooley, who served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946, will receive the Navy Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Navy Occupation Service Medal with Asia Clasp, Discharge Button, and Honorable Service Lapel Pin (Ruptured Duck). Among those in attendance will be faculty and students of the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) program.
