Shea-Porter Says Thank You for Successful Town Halls

Washington, D.C. – After two successful health care town halls on Saturday, August 29, Congresswoman Shea-Porter would like to express her gratitude to her constituents who attended the events and to the officers of the Federal Protective Service (FPS) and local law enforcement for their help.

“The town halls in Manchester and Portsmouth were lively and spirited events with a wide view of opinions expressed,” said Congresswoman Shea-Porter.

It is a tribute to all 250 participants that only one unruly person had to be removed by the FPS, who had sole responsibility for security at the federal buildings.
