DOVER – Seacoast Democrats will attend the annual Strafford County Democratic picnic this Sunday, Sept. 13 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the home of Salme and Ken Perry, 380 Rollins Rd. in Rollinsford.
Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter and New Hampshire Speaker of the House Terie Norelli of Portsmouth will be among the guests along with State Senators Mandy Merrill of Durham, Jackie Cilley of Barrington and Kathy Sgambati of Tilton, members of the county’s House delegation and Democrats running for municipal offices in this fall’s city elections.
The Strafford County Democratic picnic is traditionally a highlight of the political season on the Seacoast. Democrats of all ages get together to talk politics as they enjoy traditional picnic fare, musical entertainment, fun, games and swimming in a family-friendly setting.
“This is old-fashioned grassroots politics in the New Hampshire tradition,” Strafford County Democratic chair Caitlin Daniuk of Rollinsford said, “The picnic is a chance for people from around the area to catch up with friends, meet new people, have a great afternoon and talk about bringing positive change to New Hampshire, too.”
Picnic tickets are $10.00 for individuals. Family tickets are $20. For more information or to reserve tickets, contact Caitlin Daniuk at (603) 490-3145 or firstname.lastname@example.org
