Shea-Porter Announces Nearly $300,000 for Child and Family Services of New Hampshire 

WASHINGTON, DC — Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter today announced that the Child and Family Services Young Adult Substance Abuse Treatment program of Hillsborough County will receive $297,304 in grant funding.  This program, which is based in Manchester, provides transition age youth (ages 18-24) with quick and easy access to community-based substance abuse treatment.  It has a proven track record of effectiveness, and it is also cost-effective and developmentally appropriate.  This grant is provided by the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment of the Department of Health and Human Services.
