CORNERSTONE TO TESTIFY ON NUMEROUS BILLS ON TUESDAY

Concord, NH - Due to the high volume of bills on Tuesday, January 19th, Cornerstone-Action will be testifying on the following pieces of proposed legislation: 

 

CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY, Room 204, LOB 

1:00 p.m.          HB 1644-FN, including "unborn child" in the definition of "another" for the purpose of first and second degree murder, manslaughter, and negligent homicide. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support.

 

EDUCATION, Room 207, LOB

1:00 p.m.          HB 1523, revising the pupil safety and violence prevention act. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support with amendment.

 

HEALTH, HUMAN SERVICES AND ELDERLY AFFAIRS, Room 205, LOB

1:00 p.m.          HB 1666-FN, requiring licensing of outpatient abortion facilities. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support.

 

JUDICIARY, Room 208, LOB

10:00 a.m.        HB 1330, relative to the preservation of religious freedom. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support.

11:00 a.m.        HCR 26, reaffirming the state's religious heritage and constitutional rights to practice religion and free speech. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support.

1:00 p.m.          HB 1454-FN, requiring parental consent for medical procedures and medications provided to minors.

2:00 p.m.          HB 1662-FN, relative to consent for abortions. Cornerstone-Action will testify in support.
