Says people will have their say on this matter one way or another
Concord, NH - Today, the NH House debated CACR28, which would allow the people of New Hampshire to vote on the issue of gay marriage via a constitutional amendment. Speaking in favor of this measure was Cornerstone-Action's Executive Director, Kevin Smith:
"The people of New Hampshire deserve to have their voice heard on this very important matter. Thirty-one states have given their citizens the opportunity to vote on gay marriage, and in all 31, the people have said they do not want it. There is a lot of voter angst out there right now and one way or another, the people will have their say - either through this constitutional amendment or at the ballot box when they elect new representatives."
