Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, October 12th, Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine will give remarks at a Moving America Forward house party in Manchester, NH as part of President Obama’s webcast Town Hall. Kaine's remarks from Manchester will be streamed online at hundreds of house parties being held across the country as OFA supporters gather to watch President Obama’s webcast Town Hall from George Washington University. Supporters will use the President’s Town Hall as a way to talk to their friends, families, and neighbors about the stakes this election season and get them engaged for the midterm election.
With less than a month to the Election Day, the President will use the Town Hall to answer questions from voters and lay out the choice the country faces this November: whether to support Democratic leaders and continue to make progress for American families and small businesses—or to return to the failed, Bush-era policies that nearly drove the nation into a second Great Depression.

Since taking office, President Obama has made major strides in pulling the economy from the brink of a depression, reforming the health insurance industry to give power back to consumers, and reforming Wall Street practices so that Americans are never again left footing the bill for the mistakes of bankers. The President is rallying support for Democratic allies who will continue to support his agenda to strengthen the middle class, combat global climate change, and improve the American education system so that our children can compete in a global economy.
The webcast Town Hall event will be the third in a series of “Moving America Forward” events the President is doing prior to the election. He has previously held rallies in Madison, WI, Philadelphia, PA and will go to Columbus, OH and Las Vegas, NV in the coming weeks.

Organizing for America (OFA) is a grassroots project of the Democratic National Committee. OFA's network of volunteers and staff is actively working in all 50 states to promote the President's agenda for improving the country. Since 2009, OFA supporters have played a key role in helping strengthen America's middle class by creating jobs, passing health insurance reform, building a clean energy economy, improving education, and reining in the excesses of Wall Street.
