New Hampshire Senate: Ayotte (R) Holds Steady Lead Over Hodes (D)

Republican Kelly Ayotte for the third month in a row earns more than 50% of the vote against Democratic Congressman Paul Hodes in New Hampshire’s U.S. Senate race.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in New Hampshire shows Ayotte with 51% support to Hodes’ 44%, unchanged from a month ago. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and two percent (2%) are undecided.
The race remains Leans GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.
Ayotte has posted 51% support since August and, in five surveys prior to that back to February, earned 46% to 50% of the vote. Hodes’ support has ranged from 35% to 44% since February.
This statewide telephone survey of 750 Likely Voters in New Hampshire was conducted on October 10, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports.
