New Hampshire Working Families Mobilize for Elections as part of
One Nation, Working Together
Door-to-door canvass coincides with nationwide day of action on October 2
On October 2, union families will rally and walk door-to-door in neighborhoods in conjunction with a nationwide day of action for jobs, justice, and equality for all. Participants will talk about the choices for working people this November and make sure that union families in New Hampshire know who will stand with working people.
The nationwide day of action comes as tens of thousands of people are expected to march at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC as part of One Nation Working Together under the banner, “Put America Back to Work and Pull America Back Together.”
Union volunteers and working families are mounting a massive effort to elect working family candidates who will fight for good jobs in the elections. Tens of thousands of union volunteers are communicating with their coworkers, friends and neighbors about working family issues through door-to-door efforts, phone banks, and worksite leaflets.
