Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire to Announce Endorsement for Re-Election of State Senator Betsi DeVries
Manchester’s first female firefighter has never stopped fighting for her district
MANCHESTER -- Tomorrow, Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire (PFFNH) President Dave Lang, alongside the International Association of Firefighers (IAFF) Local 856 Manchester Professional Firefighters Association, will announce support for the re-election of State Senator Betsi DeVries for District 18, Wards 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and Litchfield at an event set for 12:30 pm at Station 8, located at 280 E Industrial Park Drive in Manchester.
In a statement Tuesday, PFFNH President Dave Lang said, “We’re proud to support Senator Betsi DeVries for re-election. She’ll continue fighting for tax relief, a strong economy, jobs, and protecting and keeping families safe.” Lang continued, saying, “Betsi lead New Hampshire to becoming the safest state in the nation for the 3rd year running. She’s a fighter and knows what’s right for working families.” Betsi Devries was the city of Manchester’s first female firefighter and has dedicated her life to public service.
The Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire is comprised of 42 local unions of the International Association of Firefighters, all across the Granite State, representing 2000 active and retired firefighters and paramedics.
