“This is an important election in shaping the direction of the State of New Hampshire as well as the United States of America.” said Committee Chairman Ray Chadwick. “We’re offering voters an opportunity to see what the candidates stand for and plan to achieve.”
Interviews were done with Republican candidates for the United States Senate and House of Representatives District 1, for the New Hampshire Governor and Executive Council, for the New Hampshire Senate District 9 and House of Representatives District 18 (Bedford), and for Hillsborough County Commissioner. The 30 minute shows explore each candidate’s values, goals if elected and the issues they consider important. The County Commissioner show also provides an overview of the County government structure, responsibilities, and activities.
The interviews were taped at Bedford Community TV with BCTV staff serving as director and camera operators. Shows will be shown on BCTV Channel 16 over the period up to the General Election on November 2, 2010, and other Community Access stations can access the interviews by contacting BCTV staff. “We’re pleased to have worked with BCTV to help voters know the candidates and issues.” said Chadwick.
The BCTV broadcast schedule is published weekly in the Bedford newspapers.
Streaming video of the programs will be available at the Bedford Republicans website at:
The Bedford Republicans website will also link to an interview where Charles Arlinghaus of the Josiah Bartlett Center discusses the state of the New Hampshire budget.
