Poetry Contest for Students
The Poetry Society of New Hampshire sponsors an annual contest for NH students in grades 1 through 12. There are two categories, one for elementary and junior high and one for high school. Ten poems in each category are published in the The Poets Touchstone, the society’s quarterly magazine. Younger winning poets receive a certificate and small writing journal. Older students receive a certificate and a ten dollar prize check. There is an entry fee of $1 per poem. Postmark deadline is March 31st.
