HANCOCK -- The Hancock Republican Town Committee (HRTC) is hosting a Republican candidates forum on Sunday, October 17, from 1-3 pm. The public is invited to attend. The forum will be held in the Daniels Room of the Hancock Public Library on Main Street in Hancock.
All Republican candidates for federal, state and county offices representing Hancock and Hillsborough County have been invited to attend. Confirmed participants are Charlie Bass, candidate for US Representative, (Cong. Dist. 2); NH gubernatorial candidate John Stephen; Andy Sanborn, state senate candidate (Dist. 7); and Robert Fredette, Dave Fullerton, and Holly Mecheski, candidates for the three state representative seats in Hillsborough County’s District 1.
Three Hillsborough County officials and candidates will also be attending: Carol Holden, county commissioner (Dist. 3); Pamela Coughlin, register of deeds; and Bob Burns, candidate for county treasurer.
The social event will include presentations by each candidate.
Light refreshments will be served.
The HRTC encourages all guests to bring non-perishable food items for donation to the Monadnock Area Food Pantry.
