The Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) has mobilized in Ohio. Focused especially on Northeast Ohio, the YRNF has engaged in multiple national deployments to Ohio in support statewide and local Republican candidates this year.

In addition, today the YRNF releases its first commercial focused on jobs and the economy.  The commercial will be airing through media outlets Monday and Tuesday in Greater Cleveland and the 10th congressional district.

"Ohio, particularly the Cleveland area, has suffered more then most from this bad economy. We hope this commercial and all our efforts throughout Ohio will help the voters remember the importance of their vote on Tuesday, and to think about their decision before they cast their ballot.", said Ohio native Lisa Stickan, Chairman of the YRNF.

The commercial focuses on unemployment, asking "Where are the jobs?", and calls on all those concerned about the current direction of the country to make a telephone call to Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressman Dennis

Kucinich and ask them, "Where are the jobs?"

"Bigger government, bad policies, and corruption appear to be the standard for Democrat leaders in Cuyahoga County lately, and I was very excited when the national YR's approved the release of their first ever commercial in our area, and with a special focus the 10th congressional district.", said Brandon Davis, YRNF Communications Chairman and Lakewood homeowner.

With the release of the advertisement, the YRNF is also rolling out a viral campaign at a new website ( focusing attention on "Where are the Jobs?" nationally. The YRNF national campaign utilizes a version of the video questioning both Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The media campaign comes as an addition to the YRNF's campaign support and deployment efforts for the 2010 mid-term elections, which are the largest efforts the organization has implemented in more than two decades.

About the Young Republican National Federation (YRNF):
The Young Republicans (YRs) are the oldest political youth organization in the United States. A critical part of the Republican Party, the YRs reach out to registered voters 18 to 40 years of age and provide them with better political knowledge and understanding of the issues of the day. Since its creation, the YRNF has established itself as the premier Republican grassroots organization in the nation, providing essential grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on the local, state and national levels. The YRNF has a solid record of producing future Republican Party leaders - including Governors, Senators, Congressmen, nationally recognized campaign consultants, and community leaders. Through recruiting, training and mobilizing people, the YRNF presents an opportunity for ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Through community involvement in political issues, charitable projects and participation in political campaigns, YRs work to improve the world in which they live. While the YRs are best known for political activism and service to their communities, YR events also provide a great opportunity for interaction amongst the membership. This interaction allows for the exchange of ideas, networking, and friendships that last a lifetime. The YRs provide different opportunities for different people. No matter what members' long-term goals may be, the YRs serve as the building blocks for a successful future.
