Concord - New Hampshire Democratic Party Chair Ray Buckley released the following statement in support of state Representative Terie Norelli's election as House Democratic leader.
"During the past several years, Terie Norelli has shown extraordinary leadership and our Democratic caucus in the House is united in support of her. She has a proven ability to work across party lines to without compromising the fundamental Democratic values our party stands for.
"Representative Norelli will be a strong voice of for all New Hampshire citizens in the state House. Her work on behalf of small businesses, working families, and children has resulted in statewide public kindergarten, kept taxes at the second lowest levels the nation, and created over ten-thousand new jobs during the past year."
Terie Norllie was elected to her eighth term in the New Hampshire House of Representatives on November 2, 2010. Prior to her elected public service, Norelli taught mathematics at Winnacunnet High School and is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
