After almost a year of campaigning, it all comes down to today, when voters at last get to make their choices. We are at an important crossroads in our nation's history, and what I heard from voters all across New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District was deep concern about the state of our nation's finances, but also optimism that our people have the capacity to work together to solve our common problems.
This campaign has been the most enthusiastic in which I have ever been a part. We had more volunteers, made more phone calls, sent more letters, made more campaign stops, and distributed more yard signs than ever before. This is, I know, a reflection of the choice that voters face and the impact it will have on our future. When races feature two candidates that have far different views on the path our nation needs to follow, voters get energized.
I am humbled by all the hard work thousands of people have done on this campaign's behalf, and I vow to bring that enthusiasm with me to Washington, DC.
Please vote today, and just as important, please encourage your family and friends to do the same. I hope you will join me tonight at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord as we celebrate the change we need now.
P.S.-Tonight's Victory Party will start at 8:00 P.M. in the Constitution Room at the Grappone Conference Center. Please feel free to call (603) 226-6000 for more information! _______________________________________
