NH Council of Churches - Celebrate Advent! Create NH People of Faith Against the Death Penalty

New Hampshire
People of Faith
Against the Death Penalty

November 26, 2010

The Kairos Conference in Atlanta passed all of our expectations. NH had one of the largest state delegations. We want to share our excitement with you this coming Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM at the NH Conference Building, 140 Sheep Davis Road (Route 106), Pembroke, NH 03275.

Join us for pizza and a multi-media presentation as we report on the Kairos Conference. Share the news of the Kairos Covenant, a new national initiative of people of faith to END the death penalty in the U.S.

Be part of NH's grassroots interreligious movement in simple ways.

Help form the NH plan to equip clergy to preach, educators to teach, and laity to form their consciences by faith. States that have successfully repealed the death penalty have done so because a broad cross section of the state examined the repeal not a s a matter of economics, or deterrence, or vengeance but as a matter of faithfully formed consciences.

RSVP to 603 224-1352 or David@NHchurches.org. If you cannot come but wish to stay in contact, let us know!
