NH DHHS Announces Conference Aimed at Helping Employers Understand Challenges and Rewards of Hiring People with Mental Health Issues

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announces the 2010 Evidence-Based Supported Employment Conference.

This conference will highlight the importance of employment in the recovery process of people with serious mental health issues. This is an opportunity to better understand the role of evidence-based supported employment (EBSE) in helping people with mental illnesses in New Hampshire reach their goals. Conference speakers will discuss emerging trends in EBSE programs across the country, with special emphasis on the benefits of strong collaborative relationships between EBSE programs and their counterparts at Vocational Rehabilitation.
