Ruth Griffin Endorses Ashooh for Congress

Former Executive Councilor from Seacoast calls Ashooh, “The Best Choice”

MANCHESTER – Today, the Ashooh for Congress campaign announced that Rich Ashooh has earned the endorsement of Ruth Griffin, the former, long-time Executive Councilor from Portsmouth.
In a statement, Griffin said, “Rich Ashooh has the skill and character to restore common sense and fiscal sanity to Washington, DC.  I support his candidacy and know that he will make New Hampshire proud as our representative in Congress.”
Griffin continued, “I know Rich, and I trust him. He’ll do what he says he’s going to do, and I like that about him.  Rich has been a leader in New Hampshire’s business, charitable, and political communities for a long time.  He is the best choice to represent us in Congress, and he will beat Carol Shea-Porter in November.”
Ashooh commented, “I’m honored to have Ruth Griffin’s endorsement.  There is no one who has been more committed to public service than Ruth, and so her support means a great deal to me.  It should come as no surprise that I will listen to every piece of advice she offers to me and my campaign.  Ruth knows how to win elections, and she has been a model public servant for New Hampshire.”
Griffin is one of only four women to have been elected to New Hampshire’s Executive Council.  She served for twenty years on the Council, ten years in the NH House of Representatives, two years in the NH Senate, and she was elected as a delegate to two NH Constitutional Conventions.  Griffin, a former Republican National Committeewoman, was chosen as a NH delegate to seven Republican National Conventions.
