MANCHESTER, N.H.--While Democratic leaders continued their bully tactics on Capitol Hill to try and force their socialized health care plan on the American people, about 75 to 100 New Hampshire residents gathered at City Hall Plaza on Thursday, March 18, to remind lawmakers who they work for and make it clear to them once again that We the People really do want Congress to kill the Obamacare proposal.
"Enough is enough," said former U.S. Senator Gordon Humphrey, who spoke at the event. "We don't want this bill. We want you to put it aside and go back and start from scratch, and give us a bill that is worthy of the American nation and of our founding principles, not a bill like this one that is more worthy of the communist founders of the Soviet Union."
From City Hall, where Congressional candidates Frank Guinta and Jennifer Horn and Gubernatorial candidates John Stephen and Karen Testerman also spoke, protesters marched up Elm Street to Lowell Street, where they paid a visit to the office of their sitting Congresswoman, Carol Shea-Porter. Protesters, tired of her form letters, arrogant attitude and allegiance to Nancy Pelosi rather than the residents of her district, sent Shea-Porter a clear message about her coming pink slip, particularly if she continues along her current, shameful path.
