Ayotte For Senate - Another Poll, Another Lead

Campaign Update - April 23, 2010

Another Poll, Another Lead

The 13th public poll in a row has Kelly leading Democrat Paul Hodes. A left-leaning polling firm released results earlier this week that showed Kelly topping Hodes by a margin of 47 to 40. According to RealClearPolitics.com, Kelly is leading Hodes by an average of 9.2 points in polls conducted this year.

The Union Leader reported Thursday that, “In the GOP Senate primary, Ayotte leads Binnie by [a] surprisingly wide margin of 43 to 19 percent, with Jim Bender at 11 percent and Lamontagne trailing at 5 percent.”

The strong showing for Kelly led The Hill newspaper to write, “Former New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly Ayotte holds a wide lead in her state’s GOP Senate primary, according to a new poll.”

While these numbers are encouraging, Kelly is campaigning harder than ever across the state, meeting with as many voters as she can (and frequently being the last to leave many GOP meet and greets). She knows the only poll that matters is the one on Election Day – which is why she’s working day and night to win this race.

Lawn Signs, Anyone?

That’s right: Ayotte for Senate lawn signs have been ordered and we’re anxiously awaiting them at our Manchester Headquarters. Pardon the pun, but this is the latest “sign” yet that the election is just around the corner!

If you would like to request a lawn sign, send an e-mail message to signs@ayotteforsenate.com.

Help Kelly: Become a Town Chair

Kelly signed up more than 150 new supporters this week at three house parties in Greenland, Claremont, and Nashua.  Now she needs your help to continue building a strong grassroots campaign.

Town Chairs are our eyes and ears around the state. They help us recruit volunteers, host house parties, and find sign locations.

If you’d like to join Kelly’s growing team or get more info, please send an e-mail message to townchair@ayotteforsenate.com
