Binnie listens to hundreds of people in three counties
(Portsmouth, May 24, 2010) Bill Binnie, Republican candidate for the US Senate, held his own Town Hall meetings in three towns and listened to hundreds of people this weekend.
Binnie hosted Town Hall Meetings on Saturday in Keene, Newport and Lebanon. Binnie's campaign has held seven Town Hall meetings in the last ten days in seven different counties.
“Listening to people, hearing their concerns is a big part of my campaign. That’s why I am holding these meetings across the state.” said Binnie.
He is hearing a lot of concerns about the economy.
“People are anxious about jobs and the country’s economic future, there is a real sense of economic anxiety,” says Binnie. “And they have a right to be concerned. America is headed in the wrong direction.”
That’s why we need new leaders in Washington who understand the real world economy, who have met a payroll and built a business and who can make a difference.”
The Binnie campaign has also scheduled additional Town Hall meetings for Hillsborough and Coos counties in the coming days.
