Sunacom - Representative Cunningham Calls NH HealthFirst SB455 "a Vampire Amendment"

New Hampshire Representative Steven Cunningham writes in his May 3, 2010 column on Sunacom.com,

"The federal health care bill was a rushed, poorly thought-out, unread bill with an enormous number of poorly understood and unwanted consequences [and is]  poised to pounce on New Hampshire."

"Call your representatives and senators and tell them to kill SB455. ... a vampire amendment."

"Children are defined as up to 26 years old. ... what about your grandchild?"

"New Hampshire would be signing a blank check. ...[and be] paying for the... poor health risks of the inner cities of New York and Los Angeles."

"A child is defined as a child by blood or by marriage. They left out adopted children."

"New Hampshire should not make the same mistake by rushing to sign on to this very expensive program."
