The Bass Report- June 13, 2010

Dear Friend,

I am now officially on the ballot for the September 14th Primary! On Tuesday, June 8th, I filed my candidacy with Secretary of State Bill Gardiner's office and was honored to be surrounded by so many of my family and friends. Thank you to all of my supporters that took time out of their schedule to join me at the State House. You can watch video of the event on my youtube page, CharlieBassNH.

At the filing, I stressed the need for New Hampshire to send representatives to Congress that will cut spending, reduce our debt, and use common-sense approaches to fix our nation's financial and energy problems, beginning on day one. Our nation cannot survive if the current Democratic leadership continues to drive us further into debt by attempting to spend their way to prosperity.

For this reason, I am taking nothing for granted and am committed to working harder than any other candidate in this race to earn the support of voters across the 2nd District to return this seat to responsible hands.

If there is an event that you would like me to attend, please email me at or fill out the new Bass For Congress Invite Form on my campaign site. Also, if you are interested in marching with me in any of the 4th of July parades, please let me know. You can reach my campaign at (603) 226-6000.

I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail this summer. I know that with your help, we will be victorious in September, and again in November!

Thanks again,

THE BASS REPORT- June 13, 2010

On Tuesday, June 8, I filed for Congress. Read my campaign's filing announcement here- CHARLIE BASS FILES CANDIDACY FOR CONGRESS IN NH'S 2nd DISTRICT

Thank you to the members of the Peterborough and Brookline/Mason GOP Committee's for hosting me at their June meetings. It was great to hear from so many excited Republicans! See pictures of the meetings and many others on my Facebook page.

On Friday morning, June 11, I joined Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and over 100 fellow Republicans for a fundraiser in Nashua. Mayor Giuliani was a great headliner as always, and the event was very well attended. The contributions collected by the Senate Majority PAC at the event will be used to ensure that the GOP has the resources to take back the majority in the State Senate this November!
