US Senate candidate Bender signs AFP New Hampshire Anti-Tax Pledge

Jim Bender - US Senate 2010

Hollis, NH- Today, Jim Bender, Republican candidate for US Senate signed the Americans For Prosperity New Hampshire chapter Anti-Tax Pledge.  The measure allows candidates running for office to pledge that if elected to serve the people, they would be committed to cut taxes, fees, spending, and the size of government and to uphold the New Hampshire and United States constitution.  Jim's wife Sue Bender read the following statement on his behalf at the Legislative Office Building in Concord.

“As a candidate for US Senate, I am pleased to sign the Americans For Prosperity New Hampshire anti-tax pledge," said Bender.  "The taxpayers in New Hampshire have been overtaxed and overregulated by the Federal government for far too long.  We need to send a message to Washington that their out of control spending has to stop.   Big government and bailouts have to stop.  The people need to be heard.  I want to go to Washington to bring back trust and accountability.  I have the leadership skills to find solutions to our wasteful spending problems and the only way to do that is to lower taxes and create a leaner and more competent government.”
