SIX 2ND DISTRICT SHERIFFS SUPPORT CHARLIE BASS FOR CONGRESS

Concord, NH- Peterborough Republican Charlie Bass today announced six sheriffs in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District are supporting his campaign for Congress.   Sheriffs endorsing Bass include:  

 

-          Sheriff James Hardy - Hillsborough County

-          Sheriff Scott Hilliard - Merrimack County

-          Sheriff Gerald Marcou - Coos County

-          Sheriff Doug Dutile - Grafton County

-          Sheriff Craig Wiggin - Belknap County

-          Sheriff Michael Prozzo - Sullivan County

 

Bass, a strong fiscal conservative with a long record of supporting policies that strengthen law enforcement and national security, said, “I am honored to have six of the 2nd District’s leading law enforcement officials supporting my campaign to stop wasteful spending and refocus our priorities on making America as prosperous and safe as possible.”

In Congress, Bass strongly supported the COPS (Community Oriented Policing Services) Program that provided grants for additional police officers in New Hampshire.   Bass also helped secure over $3 million for the J-ONE Information System to link all of New Hampshire’s criminal justice system components in 2003.
