THE BASS REPORT: DEMOCRATS DECIDE THAT PASSING A BUDGET IS NOT IMPORTANT- KUSTER AND SWETT REMAIN QUIET

Dear Friend,

This week, Congressional Democrats decided that protecting the power of their party was more important than passing a budget for our country. At a time when millions of Americans continue to reduce their spending to meet household budgets, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her Democratic Leadership Team sidestepped their responsibility to bring a balanced budget to a vote, and once again exhibited that their only plan is to attempt to spend their way into prosperity.

We can only expect more of the same - trillions of dollars in new spending, increased taxes, record deficits, and crushing debt.   All brought to you by Nancy Pelosi and her Washington team of tax and spenders, many of which have supported, and given large contributions, to 2nd District Democrat Candidates Ann McLane Kuster and Katrina Swett.

With recent reports that the Obama Administration's stimulus spending has delivered far fewer jobs than were promised, it is time to stop the Tax and Spend environment that plagues the current Congress. We must rein in spending and pass a balanced budget that will allow our country to climb out of the huge hole in which Washington's spending habits have dug us into.

If you believe that it is time to return fiscal sanity to Washington, DC, and to stop saddling our children and grandchildren with trillions of dollars of debt, then I ask you to join me in my campaign for Congress! Please help me by signing up to volunteer, by telling your family and friends about my candidacy, and by contributing today. Please click here to help my campaign, Votebass.com.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you on the campaign trail,
